Has anyone discovered Vogue Picture Records? I love the graphics on these...I listed this on ebay...if it doesn't sell, I need to find a fun way to display it, both sides are gorgeous, so don't know how I would do that....

Guess that means I will probably be starting another collection....uh oh....

Another collection beginning????

Friday night we went to an auction...a new one in town...I think I am going to like these auctions, I got a motherload....most going on ebay or my website.
I am not usually a doll person, but I could not resist this one...I thought she looked like Shirley Temple with her little pin curls. Turns out, she is not Shirley Temple, I got home and found out she is a Princess Elizabeth Alexander doll, made in 1937, when Madame Alexander dolls began. She is actually a young girl version of Princess Elizabeth, in honor of her coronation. I don't think I want to sell her, she looks so pretty on my dresser. Uh oh, I feel another collection beginning!
I really bought her to sell, but no...she has grown on me. Besides, the composition on her back is in bad shape, no one will buy her....right???? Sigh! I'm thinking hubby will be none to happy with me!

These are just a few of the new items I will be offering this week. The vintage mini perfumes are just so beautiful! I recently began collecting vintage perfume bottles, so I am torn as whether or not to offer these for sale....hmmmm!

"Grace Before Meat" Haddon Sundblom

Just look at this old print by Haddon Sundblom! Now if this isn't the ultimate cottage chic home, what is? This man knew how to capture Americana at its finest. Who was he? Well, remember the old Coca Cola Santa Claus? That was his work....I lovvvve his work. This poor print has some mold on it, but it can be rescued. Isn't it fitting since we are at war today? I just love this and am having such a hard time but it must be sold! (Well, if it doesn't sell, I will rescue it myself, it just makes me feel good!)
